When I bought my new Nikon D90 in December, I bought the 18-135mm lens...not the lens I really wanted. I really wanted the 18-100mm lens and I've had buyer's remorse ever since. I hope you win! One of the things on my "to do" list once all my kids are in school, is to get a 'real' camera with lenses and take a class to learn how to use it :)
